Spinning out of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line, the anthology-style series throws the spotlight not just on the biggest superheroes in DC Universe, but also on characters that may be unfamiliar to the general public in surprising, sometimes genre-defying adventures. In 2010, it kicked off with The Spectre, Jonah Hex, Green Arrow, and Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam, plus a special Catwoman feature tied to Batman: Year One.
